M•CAM/Global Innovation Commons/Heritable Innovation Trust:
M•CAM’s Global Innovation Commons is a global repository of commons and public domain innovation focusing in the areas of agriculture, clean energy, health and water. These technologies are immediately available for use. M•CAM’s Heritable Innovation Trust (H.I.T.) is the first non-property based means to document, protect, and steward indigenous and customary knowledge. Using an open- source end-user license agreement, the H.I.T. creates a de facto relationship between the source of information and those intent on its use whereby all parties, by virtue of knowledge, are obligated to cooperate. The KRMEFV/Nepal Heritable Innovation Trust and partnership is in its infancy and will be developed over the coming year. Please read more about the trust and see the founding documentation at: http://www.globalinnovationcommons.org, http://www.heritableinnovationtrust.org
